Hello friends and community!

After a long journey, countless hours of preparation, painting, sanding, detailing, and probably more patience than I thought I had, the Cyclops project is finally finished!

It honestly feels a little strange to write this after so many weeks of updates. What started as a collection of resin-printed parts has finally turned into the collectible I had envisioned from the very beginning.

And now… the final shots are in the box! 📸

For the final photography, I wanted to create an atmosphere that matched the entire concept of the project. We photographed the statue in a very dark room and carefully adjusted the camera settings, especially the aperture and exposure time, until we found the right balance. The goal was to keep the environment dark and moody while still capturing all the details of the statue and, most importantly, making the visor and its glow stand out naturally.

I’m honestly very happy with how the final images turned out. Seeing the finished piece under the final lighting really shows how all the individual elements—from the cabinet and books to the leather chair, chessboard, and Cyclops himself—finally come together as one coherent scene.

Looking back at the first steps of this project, there was so much preparation and so many small details that probably won’t even be noticed at first glance. But for me, that’s exactly what makes a project like this special. Every little detail was part of the journey.

And finally, I want to say thank you to everyone who followed this project from the beginning. Thank you for every comment, every kind word, every bit of encouragement, and everyone who took the time to follow the weekly updates. Your support genuinely kept me motivated, especially during the weeks when progress was slower.

It has been a long journey, but I’m incredibly proud of the result.

The Cyclops project is officially finished. ❤️

Thank you all for being part of the journey!

That’s it for this week’s—and the final—update.

I hope you enjoyed following the project as much as I enjoyed creating it. And as always, if you have any questions or want to know more about any of the techniques or materials I used, feel free to leave a comment.

Peace out! 🤘
