After months of building, experimenting, making mistakes, fixing things, and pushing myself way outside my comfort zone… we finally made it!

Today is the final day of submission for the Gaahleri World Creator Cup, and I’m happy to say that I was able to submit my entry on time! ❤️❤️❤️

I’m not a professional modeler, painter, or diorama builder. I’m just a dad who wanted to bring his daughter’s idea to life.

It all started when my daughter gave me her drawing of Little Red Riding Hood and said:

“Do this, Tatay.” ❤️

And so I did.

But along the way, this build became more than just a contest entry. I decided to dedicate it to my daughter and to all the women and girls in the model kit hobby who continue to build, create, learn, and inspire others.

This is my little way of saying:

You belong here. Your creativity matters. And your place in this hobby is just as important as anyone else’s.

Thank you to everyone who followed my journey, shared advice, gave ideas, encouraged me, and supported this project.

Whatever happens in the competition, I’m already proud of this one.

For my daughter.

Little Red — GWCC 2026 Final Entry

Let’s Go! 🤘

Little Red — GWCC 2026 Final Entry

Let’s Go!

We’re getting REALLY close…

Another little update on my GWCC 2026 entry!
\At this point, the finish line is finally starting to feel real.

There are still a few things left to finish, but I’m almost there.

Every time I look at this build, I get more excited to see the final result. This project has definitely been a journey—from the ideas in my head, to actually bringing them to life piece by piece.

One more push. One more round of details. Then… DONE.

I honestly can’t wait to finally show you the whole thing.

This is going to be my first-ever diorama.

I'm definitely not a professional when it comes to building dioramas, and honestly, I'm learning everything as I go. These are the materials I'll be using to hopefully bring this project to life.

But this project is more than just a competition entry for me.

The idea behind my GWCC project started with my daughter and her imagination. I wanted to take that idea and turn it into something real—something she can look at and say, “Dad brought my idea to life.”

I honestly don't know how this diorama will turn out. There will probably be mistakes along the way, especially since this is my first time doing something like this.

But I'm going to give it everything I've got.

So here's to trying something new, learning along the way, and hopefully bringing my daughter's imagination to life. ❤️

Another week, another step closer to bringing Little Red to life for GWCC 2026.

There’s still a lot to do, but I’m really happy with how the project is starting to come together. The wolf/mecha is still unfinished—I still have a few parts to complete, along with more details and finishing touches.

For now, I’m intentionally holding off on the weathering. I want to finish the "REAL" diorama first and then weather everything together so the model, environment, dirt, moss, and other elements feel like they truly belong in the same world.

So this is definitely still a work in progress.

There are plenty of details left to add, but seeing the overall scene slowly take shape is already making me excited for the final result.

From a simple idea inspired by my daughter's drawing… to this.

Still a long way to go, but Little Red is getting there.

Life has been pretty busy with work lately, but I’m still pushing forward with my daughter’s idea and slowly turning it into reality.

For this update, I’ve finally finished painting the wolf head.

The main colors are now done, and I’m really happy with how it’s starting to look. Next up are the small details, finishing touches, and weathering to give it more character and that battle-worn look.

Still a lot to do, but we’re getting there—one step at a time.

Little Red is slowly coming to life. ❤️

Had a bit of a setback with my GWCC entry. Unfortunately, the first kit I got for the wolf turned out to be an old stock, and the plastic quality was extremely brittle. Some parts were literally crumbling even with careful handling, so I had no choice but to replace the kit.

The good news is I was able to get a brand-new kit, and the inner frame is now complete! I also added an LED to the head to give it a darker, more intimidating look.

Next up is building the armor before moving on to painting. There's still a long way to go, but it's exciting to see everything slowly coming together.

Every bit of progress means a lot to me because this isn't just another build—it's my daughter's imagination slowly becoming a reality.

I'm starting my Wolf from scratch... again.

The old kit's plastic had become so brittle that it gave me problem after problem—even before I got to the painting stage. After fighting with it for a while, I finally decided it was time to start fresh.

Luckily, I was able to get a brand-new kit, and so far the plastic quality is much better. This should make the build a lot more enjoyable!

This time, I'm planning something special: a fusion of the Liger Zero Jager and Liger Zero Panzer. Since I now have both kits, I can't wait to see how this custom project turns out.

For this latest update, I wanted to share my plans for the Wolf in my GWCC entry before moving forward.

Right now, I'm still gathering and finalizing all the parts needed to bring this concept to life. The main kit is already built, but I feel like it's still missing a few key elements before I can truly call it complete.

Once I'm 100% confident with the direction and final design, I'll be sharing a full video update showcasing everything in detail.

For now, here's a sneak peek of the Wolf concept. What do you think? I'd love to hear your thoughts and suggestions as I continue developing this project.
