M_S_Statues

Hello friends and community! Unfortunately, I was sick for most of this week, so I wasn’t able to spend as much time on the project as I had planned. Today was the first day I could finally get back to the workbench and continue working on the Cyclops statue. Since the preparation work is mostly finished, I was able to move on to the next stage and start priming the floor sections. For this, I used Kaleido Colorworks Matte Black Primer, applied with my Premium Series GHPM-Mobius TG 0.5mm Airbrush. In my opinion, it is one of the best primers currently available on the market, providing excellent coverage while preserving even the smallest details. When applying primer, technique is just as important as the product itself. I always start by spraying into the corners, recesses, and hard-to-reach areas first before moving on to the larger surfaces. This helps achieve an even coat without oversaturating the model and ensures that all details are covered properly. After the primer was fully applied, I sprayed the edges with Mr. Hobby Clear. This is part of the process I use to prepare the surfaces for the upcoming paint stages. For now, everything needs some time to cure and dry properly before I can continue. The good news is that next week should be a big one. I have deliberately set aside a lot more time for the project, and if everything goes according to plan, we will finally start seeing the first actual colors appear on the statue.
