This week seemed to work against me. Between kids camp drop off and pick up, birthday celebrations, and the World Cup games I did not get as much done as I wanted. I also had a nightmare happen with trying to get the turret numbers transferred from the sheet to the model, so I gave up and decided not to force it and leave the numbers off. I think that works with the primer red turret anyway.

I also decided not to do the white wash on the hull. After painting it, I just do not want to cover up the camouflage as I’m really happy with it, and I also feel that a white wash would add another layer of busyness that was not necessary. Finally, I got some different figures in and thought to change it up a little. I want to tell the story of everyone lost in their thoughts. So I dropped one into the tank by himself, changed the driver to be looking down the road, and the gunner will be looking down at the refuge cart. So now with my decisions in hand, I’m moving onto weathering. I don’t plan on going overboard, so it’ll have mud but not bogged down with it. Until next posting, happy modeling.
