Due to the need to repost there are bound to be some gap's and a great deal of overlap in the pictures. I have tried as best as I can remember the dates of the original postings. That said some retcon's might appear. It's been quite a trip. When I first entered I thought , signup, build model, post , wait for judging. Did not expect the fun of the marathon run of this contest. Was most enjoyable even with the "HACKING" drama. Thanks for the ride.

I am hoping that some mfgr. eventually makes a kit of this. Just as a reference as to how a real restored car can look. Enjoy

These are the pictures of how I managed to get the cars to stay on the base when hung on the wall. These are map pins with their plastic removed. They are attached with standard CA cement, this is so if I were to decide to use on a different base I would just have to slide out and remount or if I wanted to remove and just resand the tires for a clean look. The other posts were my final entry this is just for reference.

This plaque is the project I hoped to start with someone no longer able to do it. All four kits were purchase years ago and left unbuilt . Thought were lost in the basement flood. Found them 1by1 by accident. So first found was the LOTUS7, then the Mr.2 , was hoping to finish in white and black but when the black trim went bad took inspreation from the picture I posted . There are all of the TAMIYA clear colors on the body starting with smoke , blue, green, red, orange , yellow with 2 costs of KRYLON 1K clear. Then found the mini and remembered mine and it's heritage. Lastly found the Fairlady. In my case it was actually a 280ZX. First of 2 1 NA and 1 Turbo. NA was white , Turbo was Black and Silver. Because this was a NA kit Whit it became. Now if you look very close and expand the picthre of the Mini it is on the grass near a Fire Hydrant. Take a careful look at the Hydrant ( made from LEGO). You will notice the front grill , that was Aluminum 1/4" plate with holes drilled thru it for cooling . And you will see the chain and lock. That is because the Highschool Football team were so afraid of it because it could chase them onto the field. No other car could fit or go up and down the stairs. So this is dedicated to that poor little car picked on by those bullies. If it gets free it may be the last face you ever see before you start to run for the bleachers. Better fear DARLA.

My last piece , which I bought from AMAZON, arrived this morning. That brings us to here. Can any one see it in these pictures? Further update to come when I get the plug wires in.
