Yonpai

Beginning the design process for the object that will bring together the three “Crit Makers,” forming the artifact as a whole. This is a very first draft along with a few bas-relief sketches. The next two images are research and inspiration references: I drew inspiration from the modernity of the Sagrada Família, the flying buttresses of Notre-Dame de Paris, as well as the flowing calligraphy of Hassan Massoudy.

Turn up the volume and listen to the story of the “Crit Maker.” I will attempt to bring this legendary artifact back to life by recreating the three magical objects that compose it, as well as the vessel that binds them together.
