Here they are, the final pictures of my Tamiya Mercedes 500 SEC

Finished in Kaleido Colorworks Graphite Grey with Dark Green Interior.

Everything has been put together.

As with every build, the body gets signed before I start putzing everything together.

The windows have been glued in with clear glue, aswell as the front and rear lights.

Almost done now 🥳

The bumpers have been painted in chrome. I think the finish is quiet good for a chrome pen.

The windscreen got a sunstrip and the mirror.

Only final touches left

After the side panels have cured I‘ve painted the chrome piece.

I masked of the body and sprayed the headlining green to match the interior. (Somehow missing that picture )

I have painted all the chrome parts in chrome and the lower side panels in the typical plastic grey.

Just a quick update on the finished engine. No extra details added on this one

After sanding of the old paint, I primed the body back in white, sanded it smooth and layed down some Graphite Gray from Kaleido Colorworks.

Had to remove one very visible hair/ dust particle.

Now I‘ll let the paint fully dry before giving it a new clear coat.

the paint has fully cured ao it was time to get sanding. Don‘t know what caused these strange craters. As I had them almost smooth I went thru the clear… a quick sand job and respray didn‘t do the job… it‘s back to primer
