Once the door and the snowplow lifting cable were assembled, the model was given an oil wash, starting from dark tones all the way to white to create a winter effect. I sealed everything with a coat of matte varnish using an airbrush, also creating the windshield wiper marks. Thank you everyone for following me through this fun contest!

I always like to place a figure next to the model to give an idea of its scale. In this case, I chose a German soldier in winter gear made by Whitesnork, painted with acrylic colors.

Since the model is almost finished, I prepared a stencil using my Cricut and airbrushed the title.

After a overall wash and a pin wash with dark brown oil paint, I started the weathering process using the products you see here, allowing complete drying time between steps.

After creating some light chipping, I applied a coat of gloss clear, a layer of chipping fluid, and sprayed white patches with an airbrush. Once they were dry, I reactivated the fluid with water and proceeded to chip away at the patches.

Using the airbrush, I painted the cabin, the bed, and the chassis in Panzer Grey, highlighting it with a touch of light blue. For the snowplow blade, I used brown, and for the tarpaulin, I started with khaki, gradually highlighting it with a light greenish tint and buff.

After improving the tools and their mounts, I dry-fitted the model to see the final effect.

The canvas cover from Blackdog has really nice folds, but since it’s open, I built a minimum level of detail by hollowing out the small windows and adding the reinforcements, in addition to the frame.

Before proceeding with the rest of the build, I painted the cab truck interior using Tamiya German Grey and Vallejo Leather Brown and a little bit weathering with oils.

After cutting out the driver's door, I finished it off with both the exterior and interior handles, doing the same for the passenger door. I remade the door jamb and then decided to keep only the windshield, remaking the side windows and the rear window.
