Finally took some pictures of the diorama! Everything is tabletop size and build to tell a story of a traveler traversing through a portal and step into a Battle scene of two titans of different factions against a giant alien creature (and some tiny ones). Its nice, I like the concept. Could be more dynamic, but Overall for my first time working on tabletop size really and building a Diorama myself, I can say I am happy with it.

I have put everything together now! Both Titans are in place, the little seperate Scene of the traveler arriving is assembled and painted and all the Alien creatures got their places.

Now I just need to take some good pictures and I am done with this massive project.

This week I painted the second Titan and the traveler. Now I just need to put everything together and do some final touches and my project will be done!

The First of the two Titans is now fully painted! Placed him and the big Alien at their place on the Diorama to test and already looks nice.

Next up will be the second Titan. Then the small traveler, some finishing touches and the final placement of everything.

I was working on painting the alien Monster and the smaller ones too. Decided to keep them all in a similar color scheme. The smaller Aliens dont have a dedicated place yet (besides one of them), so I will need to figure that Out once everything is painted and Put together on the base.

This week I was able to put more time than usual into my Hobby and managed to finish painting the terrain for my diorama!

I decided to use a mix of purple and green Shades and undertones for everything and I think that really helping showing the vibe I was looking for.

My trusty mobius Airbrush helped to blend everything together with a Variation of my main colors.

For the metallics I have decided to go for true metallic metal and use some Matte colors for weathering.

So next up is painting all the alien Monsters.

Last week I had finished the entire base with all the terrain and primed everything. This week I was preparing the character models and Monsters (sanding, glueing, gapfilling) and primed them aswell. The larger models got the same treatment as the base with black overall priming and a top layer with a purple primer. For the smaller pieces I decided to not do that and keep them primed black besides the portal which got an off-white basecoat.

Now the most exciting part can start: painting!

I went ahead and primed the Terrain Part of the Diorama. The models are Not yet ready, they still need some after print Post processing (removing Support Marks, sanding, getting everything fit together. But I really wanted to get some colors down. I decided to prime everything black as usual, but then added a second layer from the top with a purple primer to have a more interesting starting point. I really like to Experiment with colorful underpaintings and want to do something more interesting on this piece too.

Now I will prepare the rest and get some primer on them too so I can finally start painting!
