01 Started with the body. A few body panels need to be attached and the seams cleaned up.

02 On the video you can see the panels glued in place on one side.

03 I filled the seams with CA glue and added microballoons to ensure all gaps were fully filled.

04 Drilled mounting holes for the roof fin.

05 The kit already includes some photo-etched parts. I’ll compare them with the detail-up set and decide case by case which ones to use.

06 The hood meshes are almost identical, but I’ll use the Hobby Design ones since the pattern is slightly finer.

07 Sprayed a coat of black paint to make body preparation easier.

08 Started cleaning up the seams and refining the panel lines.

09 Made a template to position the emblem correctly. The molded emblem on the body will be sanded off.

10 The inner side of the hood will receive carbon fiber, just like on the real car. I made a template using masking tape.
