Update 15: Main Assembly Base coated~
This is a good milestone for the build, outside of the Composite Shield Booster, I finished base coating and detail painting the legs today, so that marks the Main Woundwort Frame being done with that stage of the build~
With that set up, I can get more into planning out the waterslides for it, and work into that process next. From there I can do a joint test assembly, see what needs to be tightened up, and then start prepping for matte coat and main assembly of the Base Woundwort~
I'm very excited to start getting pieces together outside of the little odds and ends here, I've been looking forward to that since I started getting the first prints x'D
And not to exclude, I'll also be getting into the CSB priming/base coating~

Every character has a story. And every story has its secrets.
This little music box is one of Lumina's.
From Beyond Protocol 404 to the real world, one piece at a time.
Soon, Lumina will no longer exist only in my imagination.

WEEK 10 : START printing and More details 3d model
👋 Hi everyone!
This week, I started 3D printing all the parts that I had finished modeling. I also added more details to the parts that are still a work in progress, especially the human inside the capsule.
At the same time, I worked on improving the capsule's design to make it completely airtight. The goal is to pour epoxy resin inside and create small air bubbles for a more realistic effect.🫧
I'm looking forward to showing you the next steps soon! 🚀

(not) Powering the Fleet
This week didn't go quite as planned.
I started by designing the lighting power system for the project. A dedicated 5V supply was built for the larger lights, along with a custom 3V DC/DC regulator for the COB LED strips. After some testing, I reduced the output further to 2.2V to achieve a softer and more realistic brightness.
Unfortunately, this is where things went sideways.
Most of the COB LED strips I ordered turned out to be defective—a risk that sometimes comes with buying electronic components online. Only a single strip worked properly, and the replacements didn't arrive in time, bringing this week's planned work to a halt.
Next week the focus will shift to building the shadow box. Hopefully the new LED strips will finally arrive so I can install the spring steel supports for the ships, prepare the phasers, and perform the first proper lighting test of the entire scene.

Update_Down to the Wire
This week's update is a bit more simple than the usual, since I was running out of time. There were a couple of challenges in posing the character and then posing her armor and the harder pieces of her outfit. There are still some things that need to be refined and some that are still WIP but my back is not cooperating and I have to rest. So the hands, which I was still fixing, will have to wait for next week.

It's HOT!!!
It's basically been 100 degrees in my painting space, with not airflow, fan, or AC. So here's a WIP of my zenithaled pieces.

Week 10 Update — Printing Progress
This week I finished printing the base. The next step will be cleaning up the seams, making it seamless, and preparing it for the painting stage.
I also printed the robot, but I decided I'll be printing it again. My preferred dark gray resin ran out, so I had to use a lighter resin for this test. I really like the surface finish and overall look of the dark gray resin, so I'd like to keep the final project consistent.
I've already ordered more of it, and once it arrives, I'll reprint the robot. Before doing that, I also plan to increase the depth of a few mechanical details in ZBrush and polish some area so they read better after printing and painting.
After the robot is reprinted, I'll move on to printing the girl. At the same time, I hope to finish the color concept and begin cleaning, sanding, fixing the seams, and preparing all the parts for priming and painting.

Day 69- "The Front Suspension: Part 3" Project 1/10 RC F1 2026
Steering servo and bell crank location almost finalised. Has to be tested to know if the steering angle will work for sure. Still need to work on the shocks and rockers on the front suspension.
If only I have more time to spend on this...

Bringing Lumina to Life
When I started envisioning Lumina in the real world, I didn't just want to give her form.
I wanted to see how far I could push the boundaries.
So, alongside the development of the statue, I also began experimenting with animatronics.
This was one of the first steps: a physical head of Lumina with animatronic eyes, designed to explore something that, until then, had existed only in my imagination.
I don't yet know how much of this experimentation will make it into the final version of the statue.
But for me, it’s all part of the same journey:
transforming a digital character into something that can truly exist.
And this is just the beginning.
