Feeling a lot better about the build! Thanks to everyone that pushed me forward with their kind words in the previous update. Really appreciate it.

Started some panel line scribing on the RG Hi-Nu and hoping everything goes smoothly to move on to sanding and priming.

Hey guys, Jemmen here, with a GWCC 2026 update #6. I got nothing done for my entry this week. I think it is safe to say motivation is dwindling and is running on fumes right now.

Something about needing to juggle other tasks with the competition tasks kinda makes me lose my interest. Don’t get me wrong, I still want to work on my plans for the real grade Hi-Nu Gundam, its just that it doesn’t feel good to showcase my work in progress this much this often. The weekly updates are taking its toll on me.

I know competitions aren’t for everybody, and I shouldnt stress it since this is my first competition. But man, I’m not feeling it Mr Krabs. I’m burntout.

That said, This doesn’t mean I’m backing out of GWCC 2026. Hopefully I get out of this rut sooner than later.

But yeah, have any of you guys ever get into a slump like this?

hey everyone, here’s a week #5 update. A teeny little quick little update. I got tied up in things to do recently but I am finally back home. I haven’t sanded the kit I’m using, the real grade hi nu gundam, but I will get on that along with washing the parts after this.

also because I am back home, I could finally check on the paints I wanted to use for the color scheme.

for the most of it, I’ll be using Kaleido Chestnut Red with some Vallejo Dark Red here and there as a red variant. Then as a secondary color, it’ll either be the Vallejo Titan Blue or AK German Gray. Honestly could be on or the other after some test painting on spoons. Then for a very minor portion of the build, we have some whites. Kaledio Armor white with some AK Off White accents. Then finally we got the Sunset Orange and Vallejo Turqoise for the tiny details scattered all round the kit.

It feels nice to be back. I can finally start workingn on this project for real. I’ve been dying to get on with some painting for this.
