There hasn't been much progress on the miniature this week; it's mostly been a few days of planning and testing.

As I considered some ideas and ruled out others, I tried making some molds for the book, as shown in the image, though it didn't yield many results (the best attempt is the one in the photo), so the idea of decorating the base with more books is off the table for now. The rest is just trying out different color schemes for painting and starting on the base.

A few days ago, I finally got my hands on a miniature I’d been wanting for a while, and it’s going to be my project for this journey we’re on. My idea with this project is to use it as a test of my knowledge and skills in the hobby of miniatures. I’ve been somewhat out of the loop for quite a while due to personal issues, and this contest is a good excuse to pick up the brush again and enjoy the creative process alongside others. And of course, if the result is a nice miniature to put on the table and display on the shelf, so much the better.
