And after all this time… here’s the final result. 🔥 He-Man and Battle Cat, finally together, just as I imagined them when I started this project. A piece that has allowed me to enjoy every part of the process and, above all, reminded me why I love doing this so much. But enough talking… let the show begin! 🦾⚔️ This is my final update for the Gallery World Creators Cup. Now it’s up to the audience to judge. 🤞🏻🏆 And of course, I would like to give a special thanks to Gaahleri for giving me the opportunity to take part in this competition and showcase my work alongside so many amazing creators. Thank you for making this experience possible! ❤️

After months of work, hundreds of hours and countless little details, one of the most special moments finally arrived: being able to hand the piece over personally to its new owner, Mikel.
It’s always special to see a piece you created from scratch finally become part of someone’s collection. But being able to personally deliver it makes the moment even more special. ❤️
He-Man and Battle Cat now have a new home. I hope Mikel enjoys them as much as I enjoyed creating them. 🦾🔥
And with this delivery, the project is officially complete. Now there’s nothing left to do but wait for the contest and see where this adventure takes us. 🤞🏻🏆

I need your opinion! 👀 One of the little decisions I had to make during this project was He-Man’s beard. I tried both versions, and now I’m curious to know what you think. Which version works better for you — and why? Does the beard make him look more like the He-Man you remember, or do you prefer the clean-shaven look? I’m really interested in hearing your thoughts! 👇 And be honest… I can take it! 😂🤘

The painting is finished. The photos are taken. And after so many hours of work, He-Man and Battle Cat are finally ready. 🔥 I could show you the final result now… but I think I’ll keep a few surprises for the final submission. 😉 So, here’s another little look at the finished piece through some of the studio photos I took for the final presentation. Every detail, every brushstroke and every little touch has been part of this journey. The final reveal is getting closer… 🐯⚔️🔥

The final stage is here… 📸🔥
The painting is finished, the details are in place, and now it’s time to prepare the final photos.
I’m keeping the final reveal under wraps for now… 😉
The complete photos and video will be coming soon.
For now, here’s a little behind-the-scenes look at how I’m preparing the shoot.
Every detail matters when you want to do justice to a piece like this. 🐯⚔️
The final reveal is coming…

How do you make realistic whiskers for Battle Cat? 🐯 For this simple trick, all you need is a pair of scissors, tweezers, an old brush and some clear UV resin. ✂️ First, I pull out a few bristles from the old brush and gather them into a small bundle.💧 Then I add a tiny drop of clear UV resin to the tip.📍 I position the bristles directly onto Battle Cat’s face.💡 Finally, I cure the resin with a UV light to lock everything in place. A very simple trick, but it makes a huge difference to the final look of the head. 🔥 Battle Cat is coming to life… and every little detail matters! 🐯⚔️

Every project has a story behind the finished model, and today I wanted to show you a little bit of what happens behind the scenes. 👀 These are some of the machines and tools that have been with me throughout this project: 🖨️ Uniformation GK3 Ultra – for the main resin printing work 🖨️ Elegoo Saturn 4 – another essential part of the printing process 💨 Gaahleri Turbo X compressor + GHAD-39 airbrush – for priming, painting and all the airbrush work 🔧 Hozo Neo Sander – for sanding and refining the printed parts I have to say that I was actually a little skeptical about the Turbo X at first. I’ve used compressors and airbrushes from much higher-end ranges, so I wasn’t expecting too much from such a compact and affordable compressor. But it has genuinely surprised me. It has performed really well throughout the project and has absolutely held its own, especially considering how affordable it is. Sometimes you don’t need the most expensive equipment to get great results. 🤘 Every tool has played its part in transforming a digital file into a finished physical model. And of course, a special mention to Gaahleri, the creators of this competition, and to the Turbo X and GHAD-39, which have been an important part of the painting process. 🙌 The final result is what you see in the photos… but these are some of the tools that made it possible.

In this session I'm continuing to refine He-Man, adding more depth, contrast, and subtle details. People often only see the finished piece, but there's a huge amount of work behind every surface. Every area of this figure has received at least seven different layers or treatments, all working together to create depth, texture, highlights, and a realistic finish. The best part is that there's not much left to do. Now comes my favorite stage: refining, correcting, adding more details... and repeating the process until I'm completely satisfied with the final result. What do you think of He-Man's progress so far? ⚔️💪

⚔️This time I'm showing how I paint the gems on He-Man's armor and chest emblem.
The process starts with a black base, followed by a light dry brush of chrome paint only on the raised ridges of the gems. This creates a bright highlight on the upper part of each gem while leaving the lower area darker, giving them much more depth once the transparent red is applied.
For the final finish, I use Tamiya X-27 Clear Red, a transparent paint that provides incredible depth and a beautiful glossy appearance.
Apply the X-27 very gently. Instead of dragging the brush across the surface, place small drops and carefully spread them. Otherwise, the paint can reactivate the chrome layer underneath and cause the colors to mix.
I use exactly the same technique on both the armor gems and He-Man's chest emblem.
What do you think of the result? 💎🤘

This time, I've been focusing on one of the most important parts of the project: He-Man's head.
With the skin tones now fully established, it's time to work on the hair and beard. Using a dry brush technique, I gradually highlight the blond strands to add more texture, depth, and contrast while keeping a natural look.
At the end of the video, you'll also see both finished heads together, along with a glimpse of the painting process, showing some of the work that goes into every single detail.
I hope you enjoy this new update! 🤘⚔️
