He-Man's Portrait Takes Shape
This time, I've been focusing on one of the most important parts of the project: He-Man's head.
With the skin tones now fully established, it's time to work on the hair and beard. Using a dry brush technique, I gradually highlight the blond strands to add more texture, depth, and contrast while keeping a natural look.
At the end of the video, you'll also see both finished heads together, along with a glimpse of the painting process, showing some of the work that goes into every single detail.

Fire Lily 02288 days agoGreat shading of the hair. Blond hair is such a hard color to nail. The skin is also looking amazing wit the subtle shading to indicate depth.

@firelily022 Thank you so much! Those of us who paint know how much work goes into it. It's not just about applying a color and calling it done. Every surface has more than seven layers of paint, and the skin... well, I've honestly lost count of how many layers it has! 😅🤘
