This one took me a while!
I really wanted to stay true to the original idea, so I worked on all the parts separately and tried to get every shape ready before moving on to paint.
I still need to add a few more details and install the LED, and then it should finally be ready for a proper photoshoot.
I’ll be posting the finished piece tomorrow!
This has been such a fun project to work on. Huge thanks to Gaahleri for putting together such an awesome contest!

Oh my Zeus this one was DIFFICULT! but yeah.. I enjoyed it very much anyways... I made the pose using other figures limbs, plus a little of bending and sanding, I started adding details to the little figure, I'll have it ready soon!

The main model is now ready, full of intricate details and ready for the drama.
I’ve also been testing the diorama base: the hangar section that I still need to destroy, paint, and detail for the final scene.
I set up the support for the mecha, but since this model turned out to be much heavier than I expected, I had to adjust the pose slightly from my initial sketches so it could hold better. Also, the mecha I ended up using for this project is so detailed and beautiful that I wanted to let it show off a little more than in the original concept.
But the drama is still there!
The scale should look amazing once the small human figure is sculpted, painted, and placed floating at the end of the catwalk, desperately trying to reach the mecha’s hand.

After final details and panel lining the full model is now assembled and ready to be part of a whole diorama storytelling.

Hopefully it looks close to the color design! I improved it during the painting process, and made decissions on the fly that looks better than the original plan.
I'm still struggling finding the best way to photograph this little beast, cellphone is not enough! 😆
Next:
- Backpack
- Weapons
- Shield
-Some weathering
- Diorama!
Thank yoi to all the followers for your great support! Keep the comments coming, I love readong them!

Is such a joy to pait this model kit!
Unfortunately I've been very sick the past two weeks, and also with a ton of work to do... I'm getting a little slow on this beautiful project, but I'll keep doing my best!

Given the nature of this model, I pre- assembled the very basic structure of both Torso and Waist, but I'm painting everything else as a separated piece. It's going to be fun!
