EP 7

Next stage in the bag! Bricks, details, and highlights are added. It turned out looking great, especially considering it’s just about 8x5 cm ;-) , Base have 9x10 cm

EP 6 - BASE

Yes! Next up is the diorama. I completely freestyled the building—or rather, a fragment of it... I did all the painting with acrylics using a sponge, followed by a wash. Next up: tackling the bricks, doing some fading, and adding sharper highlights

Figures

Figures for a small diorama with the SU-152 💪 As I mentioned earlier, I’m no master when it comes to figures, but for those interested, here’s my step-by-step workflow.

1. Grey primer – a warm grey works great here; it shouldn't be too dark, but not too light either.

2. White dry-brush – zenithal highlight.

3. Contrast paints – used for the base coats.

4. Dry-brush – a gentle pass with a slightly lightened base color to maximize the details.

5. Selective wash – a thinned-down black wash to push the contrast in the deepest recesses even further.

6. Base color + Base Skin Tone – this is my final highlight, applied gently at the very end via dry-brushing.

7. Faces – base coat of Base Skin Tone. Followed by Vallejo's skin tone wash—awesome shade—and then a gentle touch on the nose, chin, and cheeks using the base skin color lightened with a bit of white."

EP 5

Today is all about the final touches. Some dry-brushing, a clever bit of pin-washing here and there, a little pencil chipping, and boom—we did it! The Soviet beast is finished, but this isn't the end

EP 4

Working on the details today—some chipping, a touch of rust, building up the mud effects, and other small details

More progress with the oils. There’s still some work ahead of me, but so far, so good

Started putting this Soviet beast together. The kit is really nice and features a beautiful 3D-printed running gear! The only mod I'm planning is removing one of the front fenders and the side skirts... at least that's what I'm thinking.

The Soviet beast

I went with the late version SU-152. As always, in my favorite 1/72 scale. Time to start the build!"
