hey everyone!
Just a quick update on the build- I have started adding camouflage netting for the Leopard by experimenting with various tools. Seems like AK camo net paired with cardboard was the best way to go!
What do you all think?
Cheers!

hey everyone!
back with a quick update this time!
I have started the process of painting the hull (and turret) in the NATO tricolor camo.
For now I have laid out a rough pattern of the camo and will refine it later on with my gaahleri 0.3mm airbrush. As for the colors used- I have used Tamiya XF series paints due to the color match compared to the real thing (sadly other companies do not give such tonal accuracy, so they will be used for fading out and wearing the main coats)
Really excited to start painting, can’t wait to tackle the dust and mud on this build.
Cheers!

Hey everyone!
Glad to share this final update before giving the leopard some color. I have added all the small handles and PE assemblies that were left to finish up the assembling part (there are still a few very minor assemblies left) and I am glad to say that next week you’ll see the leopard in its intended colors!
cheers!

Hey everyone!
Sadly, this week I do not have updates on the leopard build, but I am glad to share my new currently in progress hobby desk:)
As soon as I am done with the set u- the build continues.
Cheers!

Hey everyone!
As I am progressing through the build more and more, I decided I need a light box for professional presentation of the build to make the small details I add in the photos more clear!
Since the last update, I have managed to assembled and base paint the tracks for one of the sides of the tank! And some minor PE assemblies of course!
Cheers!

hey everyone!
Decided to share a short post on what is up with the build currently!
As I mentioned in the previous post, the lower half of the hull with the wheels will be somewhat difficult to tackle on when the side skirts will be applied, there fore I have done some work on the running gear for now. I mainly used AK 3rd gen paints for the chips and small hints of rust, as I will weather the wheels more with enamels later on in the build.
I am very happy how the sprocket turned out, worked with the references I have taken myself and I am loving the look!
Cheers!

hey everyone!
Glad to share more progress on my Leopard build. I did not expect this much PE and precision work if I am being honest, but progress is happening slowly and steadily.
This time I focused around smoke dispensers, stowage boxes and camo poles on the tank. It was a burden to get them right but results are somewhat satisfactory to me. I have also started priming the lower half of the vehicle, as it will be hard to reach upon final assembly, so I figured it would be easier to do so before I hide it forever.
Cheers!

hey everyone!
I am happy to share some work in progress pictures of the leopard! The long awaited after market has arrived and I can start tackling the build proper!
The kit included lots of PE and plastic details, but I switched them out for 3d prints or aftermarket PE since it is more detailed and provides visual depth.
Very happy on how the leopard is taking shape and can’t wait to share more soon!
Cheers!

Hey everyone!
As I am still waiting for the aftermarket to arrive for the build, I decided I wanted to add a bit more life to build, and one of the best ways to do that is to add the crew itself!
For this week I am working on the crew of the tank, that will be popped out from the turret itself and will give the build more visual interest and story telling.
Cheers!

Hey everyone!
Back at it with another update! As I am still working on the worn tires, I grew tired of the repetitive task. So I decided to tackle the main build itself. Well, mostly.
I started to work on smaller sub assemblies and I have to say- this kit involves a lot of PE (and will involve more, as I have ordered some aftermarket for it).
Posted up here are some of the details I managed to cook up in the past week.
Cheers!
