I do believe this will be my last time adding so many extra bits/funnels to a kit that it didn’t come with lol. These to work on was worse than the MG Strike Freedom lol. Tedious with a capital T!

1st pic is the shield that comes with the kit. Wanted to play paint it up to see how the colors came out. Was happy with the results so I started painting the resin shield I got from eBay.

Few pics of the masking process to finally unmasked. Have to do some touch up work on it and add decals and top coat.

Hello for this weekly update. This one will show how I started adding some panel liner to the one of the pieces to the bits. And as I’m adding my color I realize too much yellow even tho most of it will be covered. But also needed to add more silver to the bits to balance the colors out. It’s so hard to visualize the final product and due to how the pieces are couldn’t test them with out struggling to get them apart.

Just simple picture masking to paint second color

Recieved the last shipment of my 3d parts. It came with the side pieces that the bits attach too but came with better detail that I couldn’t resist. Also came with more hands with separate molding for the yellow details but since I have a second red Gundam kit ( lost a piece / wanted to more bits lol / found that lost piece. ) so once i find some time I’ll paint up a twin brother for purple Gundam

Was going back and forth on the limited inner frame pieces and /etc since the black just wasn’t doing it for me. Finally got in some Gaianotes star bright silver and star bright iron. Absolutely love how they look. I decided with the star bright silver!

Also got my decals in. In my hurry to place my order I mistakenly ordered grey associated decals instead of white 😩😩 good thing still got time before decals stage

Currently in the masking process. With receiving the precut masking was a god send! See you next update

The first shipment of my 3D printed parts I ordered have arrived. 1st time ordering from eBay for such an item and also 1st time with 3D printed pieces.

Just getting those yellow pieces painted with the airbrush instead of having to hand paint was a highlight of mines. Can’t wait to see them fully put together with the reminder of kit. Just kills me that this part on the arm wasn’t color separated to begin with when it can clearly be done lol.

The shield also was a cool surprise with the order along with the matching pre cut decals to match that wasn’t detailed on the listing ( SCORE) Now shield can look even better instead of having a water slide over the cross.

Currently about 90% of all pieces have are in some sort of the painting process ( masked waiting for 2nd / 3rd color / primed / waiting for hand details / waiting to be masked )

The pieces that havent started the painting process are the limited inter frame and black / grey pieces. I have been stuck on the colors and waiting for new colors to arrive ( star bright sliver and star bright iron and dark grey ). Last is the eye sensors not sure if I want to go with red or lime green. 🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔

Always good when you get a good problem free paint session in.

Was finally able to get some painting started over the weekend. This Gaianotes paint lays down so good.

Prepping my pieces to pain and decided the bits needed some TLC.

Rescribing some lines to assist with color separation. 1st time rescribing and sanding on a kit. These pieces are too tiny for my shakey beginner hands!
