The metallic red highlights for the inner frame

For the inner frame of Barbatos I wanted to use the clear translucent Kaleido paint that I just received.

After seeing that they can do on a model rather than just spoons I see a world of opportunities in model painting.

He's a short video on it the full edit will be on my yourtube.

It was the lightest metallic I had on hand. When I bought the Kaleido paints for this competition the metallic set was not available and the translucents were just released.

The Clear Paints are amazing and I've also had great luck with them. I really appreciate your thoughtful approach to your painted layers and look forward to final results. 🤩If you don't mind me asking, why did go with Fairy Dust for your metallic base? In your video you stated that chrome wasn't really an option (due to availability), but why not use something like Kaleido's Aluminum or Stainless steel? All in all, I really love the effect you achieved on the spoon, but I'm always curious to learn more about the 'why' of builds. 🤔 Thanks for sharing!
