Custodes Astartes Joint!
🚨 GWCC Project Update! 🚨
It's time to reveal another piece of my GWCC diorama!
After showing you my Krieg, I can finally reveal that they will serve as the vanguard for a force of Space Marines ready to enter the battlefield.
This is the first Intercessor that will be part of the project. For the armor, I chose a cool blue-grey scheme that perfectly matches the atmosphere I want to create in the diorama.
If you like this armor color, in the last image you'll also find the four Green Stuff World paints I used to achieve it. Hopefully they'll be useful for your own painting projects!
Let me know what you think of the color scheme and, most importantly, if you're curious to see how this diorama comes together. The best is yet to come! 💙⚔️

Mecha Assembly eXperience112 days agoI really appreciate the gritty style you incorporated into your mini and look forward to the diorama coming together. 🤩 I also appreciate the list of colors you used. That said, I've never used GSW paints before. 😅 What's it like working with them? Do you find them easy to thin for hand and airbrushing? Would love to learn more. Thanks for sharing and best of luck to you. 🙏🍻

@Mecha Assembly eXperience Thank you so much for your kind words! I really appreciate your support, and I'm glad you like the gritty style. I can't wait to share the finished diorama with everyone! As for Green Stuff World paints, I've had a great experience with them. The Opaque range is my go-to for base coats. I've never actually tried spraying those through an airbrush, so I can't really comment on that. The Maxx Formula range, on the other hand, works great both with a brush and an airbrush. I usually thin it at a 1:1 ratio, and it sprays beautifully while still keeping excellent coverage. It's become one of my favorite paint lines to work with. Also, just a few months ago, Green Stuff World launched a successful Kickstarter campaign for a brand-new range of paints specifically designed for airbrushing, so I'm really looking forward to trying those as well. Thanks again for your comment, and best of luck with your own hobby projects too! 🍻😊
