Well, I had to watch videos to see how to do carbon fiber simulations. There are two women in the house, and neither of them had a pair of pantyhose. So I had to go to the store and buy some. To apply the technique, I first painted the background on aluminum where the pantyhose should go, then I put the pantyhose on, arranged the pattern to my liking, and airbrushed it with gloss black. I didn't like the first result, so I repainted everything aluminum. The second attempt was more acceptable, and I left it as you see in the photos. I finished by touching up certain areas with black paint using a brush. And well, this is how it turned out. The bodywork is another story. I tried sanding, but it didn't go well; I don't know why, but a lot of cracks in the paint disappeared, so why complicate things? I sanded everything down with brake sander. I'll remove the free edge again and reapply the primer and paint. That's not a problem, and luckily, it didn't happen with the decals already on. I'll share progress on those adjustments soon...
