Week 12 Update — First Full Assembly
This week I finished printing all the parts and spent around 30 minutes (or maybe even more 😄) trying to assemble everything together without gluing the pieces. It wasn't easy to keep everything standing, so that's why you can see some gaps between a few of the parts in the photos. Since nothing is glued together yet, some of the pieces also shifted slightly, so the pose and rotations aren't exactly the same as the original sculpt. Later, once everything is cleaned, glued, and painted, all the pieces should fit together nicely and match the final pose. 🙂
I feel like I need to speed up the process a bit since we're getting close to the end of the competition. Hopefully nothing unexpected happens this month so I can spend as much time as possible on the project and finish it the way I want.
Next week I'll focus on cleaning the prints, sanding, fixing the seams, and getting everything ready for primer and painting.
It actually reminds me of those Netflix competition shows where the judges suddenly say, "5 minutes left!" and I'm thinking, there's no way anyone is going to finish in time. Then somehow they announce, "1 minute left!" and everyone magically finishes everything at the last second. 😂 (I know it's a show, but that's honestly how I feel right now!)

@faulk Thanks a lot,😊 I really appreciate it. Yeah, same here. I feel like I learned a lot from this project, and hopefully I can keep that mindset going in future pieces too. Good luck with yours as well! I'm cheering you on too—I can't wait to see the final result. 💪
