Shifting my focus
I have begun to shift my focus into the fall modeling season. We have a local contest, very relaxed, just show up day of with your finished model. I plan to do an alternate timeline take on the gelgoog. My idea is federation forces brokered with zeon engineers and designers. Amuro Ray gets a Gelgoog instead of a gundam basically. Here are the first mock ups of the idea.

@gekoch thank you this is just my digital "source" material. The model is the traditional char custom pink and red to start and I will be painting it in that 78-2 style

@cristiancarlone yes, so my trick is to really tell the ai don't want it to add features but rather edit the color. The image of the kit in traditional char colors is right off the box of the 2.0 kit. It took about 5 or 6 image generations to find the look I had in my head without it creating artifacts or doing its own thing. I know it might be looked down upon but to generate source material when it doesn't exist and help visualize something that you can only use words to describe. It's a very powerful tool when used correctly.

@christopherkoch, thank you! I fully concur with your approach and use of AI. My question was exactly posed as you pointed out. Something does not exist and a tool helps us visualize what we think. It’s an appropriate and good use of the AI tool.
