So I have made no progress this week. I have been trying to rest my arm for the past couple of weeks due to significant elbow and wrist paint affecting my use of cutters and airbrush I am hoping to be back next week or so

Haven't had any time to progress this week but I did spend some time looking over decals that I might like to use.

Today was a busy day, I got all the parts for the torso and head painted and initial top coated. I also got her torso assembled, all articulation still works. Limbs next.

I started the paint work this week the torso armor is done the head core is done. The hair and torso body are in primer. I am just waiting for some additional paints to arrive to get the skin out of primer.

No major progress this week as life and dying PC got in the way. But I managed to get some prep work done to start getting pieces into paint.

I made some progress this week getting all pre paint sub assemblies done. Seam lines on shoulders and torso have been removed. And I used a new technique to ensure the knee joints don't scratch and show flesh tone plastic. Using idye poly dye, I dyed the plastic of the knees black.

The head and hair had the first fit up. As the hair is layered I can do some of the multi layer effects I want. However I had to use a different head core than the one that came with the kit so it's a different colour but it gave me the idea to chrome the head core, which I love.

So the weapon and hair set arrived this week and I got straight to work building the little armory m134. Absolute masterpiece of a weapon kit.

So I wanted to try a watercolour background for this build. This is my first time drawing in perspective a colouring in watercolours.

As this is my first megalomaria build I started some limited assembly work to allow me to make some decisions. I will be doing skin painting which on Girlpla is unusual for me. But I also discovered that there are some internal parts that are going to need paint due to their visibility. I also need to two part paint some shoulder components. For the key limb joints I am taking a different approach, with articulated models painted joints take significant prep and even so will almost always chips and scratch, so this time I am going to be dying the joints and only painting recess details.
