This has been one of the biggest project I have done. It push me past my limits there were some set back reprints. But he is done and I'm happy how it turn out. This statue is 70% FDM 30% SLA. I also learn new painting method new techniques. The weathering was the fun part for me .

Just adding some additional colors to Galactus. He is starting to show the symptoms of an infection that he was not anticipating after the battle he had with he centennial being. Createx fluorescent and Vallejo fluorescent to add to his battle damage with villainy enamels.

For this week I started weathering the platform and and galactus and do more blue highlights across the armor whicwill come in handy later on in the coming weeks. Vallejo blue air and Kaleido Matt blue . I used the dark grey gunmetal with dead white and black to get a light metallic white. To rust and age the plat form more is used the villainy enamel Sector rust, Coelia green, and the Dystopian brown. all the enamels were used on the platform and and galuctus mechanical parts. The fluorescent will be added to the armor and the parts of the body later on this coming week.

Yo Its been a minute since I have done some work on my project Adult chores suck do not recommend. For the main even the material I used for this phase are the Vallejo Black Nato is a Matt black, Kaleido Matt blue for the mai armor highlight , and Vallejo blue air for muscle definition. The Airbrush used the Vallejo black nato with the badger 105 patriot. this old veteran definitely deliver the results I wanted. For the armor highlight I used the new kid on the block the mobius .20 with the Kaleido Matt blue still making adjustment before he promoted to finer deaths but definitely I'll keep this airbrush in rotation. For the highlight I used my trusted old timer the sotar 20/20 with the Vallejo blue air. I just have to say all airbrushes and paint perform as expected. I will definitely spend more time with Mobius to tune it for more refine details is definitely worth the money on the craftsmanship.

This a breaking point where I would like share the acrylics used to get this platform and the head painted, the firs two colors i used for the platform were the Kaleido Matt Titanium slate for the top part and Armor carbon Iused my Gaahler GHAD-39.
35 needle with a 25 psi from my Cool Tooty compressor.
For the small panels and conduits I used 1/0 brush to paint on each section of the panel really slow and with steady hand nothing impressive just a repetitive for each section.it took about 20 minute to get it done,
The pillar with bolt joint I just bronze to give the platform a break from the carbon color in the platform. nothing special here just repetitive around the based hand brush some were complete cover in bronze and some were partial just to show the place has been decaying over time.
For the second pillar 1 did Vallejo heavy brown 72.153 and dead white 72.0011 mixed tis two colors to make tawny gold not bright that will compete with the the rest of the colors in the platform or galactus I mixed enough to cover all the pillars around the based nothing spacial just repetitive around the based.
To weather the based 1 use two three different colors two transparent and on wash the. The first color l used to weather was the createx sepia it gave the bronzed the brass and age weather colors accumulated in the corners in every other section I went heavy to create soot and age around the the based 1 did two passes to give the based abandoned based the second color l used was the transparent black it will give me a dark hue but the it will still show the colors on the based and a dark grey transparent to give me different layers each one took two passes with GHAD-39 with.5 needle with 40 psi from my compressor.
Now for the fun part 1 mixed brass with dead white to give an organic pink. I used this color to paint all the organic parts of the head in the based I used the my badger patriot 105.4 needle I did two passes to get the finish I want this color was a almost like a pink salmon.
I try to give the head of the centennial head some distress by airbrushing some veins using Vallejo night blue the back of the head I did big and thick branches or veins and some light veins in the forehead. For the veins I used my Gaahleri Möbius with 15 PSI from my compressor. Once the night blue was cure is used transparent pink to give the head a flesh color and not hide the veins make them look they are, under the skin.
If I would have any other pink color it would have hidden the veins throughout the head,
This process took me about me about three hours to do, it wasn't three hours straight once l accomplish the color I stop and gave the colors to cure for at lease 20 minutes to dry before continuing with the rest of the color. This what did to accomplish the weathering on the Galactus based, there are a lot step to follow but is worth the effort when you see the final results.

Week nine welcome to the rabbit hold grab a seat, this week I added the details to the based of galactic there are several color working here from Vallejo the copper, brass, bronze, and heavy brown. and dead white. The panels on the wall of the based were highlight in copper and brass the pillars were painted in copper to give the based the look of a forgotten based. Where the celestial being was defeated by galactus or was he? Any that a story for another day. the head has been color. just waiting for the paint to cure so I can give it a touch or decay for the process I will be using transparent colors and enamels. my project manager is already clock out for the day he is too exhausted from making sure I used the right pressure when scratching his ears and I feed him today on time. I already mapped my painting blocks on the picture of calactus for next week it will give me a break down what colors will be doing during this coming week.
