For me, this is where the foundation for the build is made, body prep and primer. For the AMT 70 Chevy Chevelle, one of the biggest challenges is making sure the grill and headlights fit. If you don’t scribe out the four headlight units before any paint is applied (including primer), the lights won’t fit in the units, which leads to the grill not fitting. I scribed out the headlight units, and the headlights, and the grill fit! Also, I tested out the new Gaahleri Seeker airbrush and Kaleido primer flat black paint. Both worked exceptionally well. I can’t wait to show you the body color I chose and how to it looks in the body. Hint: the color is green but which green?
