I'm exploring the idea of using the Hyaku Shiki side skirt armor in combination with the shin armor from the G Frame Rick Dias to create the housing for the side thrusters on the legs. Due to the size of these parts, this would be another divergence from the established design of the Zero Shiki, but I think it would evoke the look of the flared leg armor seen on the Rick Dias which is the ZS's predecessor. I'm not ready to attach these pieces yet however, as doing so would block the shin armor from being removed for painting. I've got an idea on how to address that, but I need some polystyrene rods.

Despite the fact that I've already put some effort into the thruster binders, I'm also exploring the idea of using the binders from the HGUC Gaza-C kit.
