The shapes are taking shape nicely. I sprayed chitin armor green on it, ( Almond Green) then a metallic purple,( Twilight Purple) I'll touch up a few more spots with a brush when it's completely dry, and I'll refine some of the greenish-yellow parts again. I think the beetle will be finished for the next update, so i can paint the rider.

Cristian Carlone98 days agoNice work! Have you ever tried Vallejo’s shifter paints? They are great to provide the metallic sheen on insects carapaces. There are at leat 2 sets of these paints.
