Week 2 Progress - The Remnant + Extras

Hey guys, glad to see you again, I have been working and printing continuously for the past few days so I think this will be my regular schedule, printer tuning, filament tuning, designing, printing and presenting, for now. I am mainly focused on printing a few pieces now because, by the looks of it, I did a slight miscalculation and the portal came out bigger than I expected, so now, I will adapt the whole project around it, not because I can't and I don't want to print it again but because it will be an even bigger challenge than I expected and I love that, that's where improvement is. (40+ hours of print time) In this week's gallery you will see a few of the failed prints and the first big part of the whole project which, by my calculations, will end up being around 1000x600mm, not taking the height in consideration as I am still visualizing it and thinking how to put everything altogether. The Translucent PETG gave me the usual problems as I personally refuse to use infill on my projects and I also can't have a resin printer because of my asthma so I must make do with what I have. While still tuning filaments on the X2D because I have a personal problem with details (which some people might ignore on a day to day basis), I have been on a rollercoaster of tuning profiles, temps, flows etc, just to get things how I want and satisfy my mother-in-law type of eyes. The green small pieces are part of a big Titanfall Ronin project than I am currently printing but I had to skip a few parts due some slight problems but even with these happening I'm sure it will all be printed by tomorrow. (30+hours or print time) This whole journey will literally be the biggest challenge to date, from printing, assembling, post-processing and painting, while also working on other things. So, thank you for taking the time to read this and go through the photos and I'll see you around when the next update drops. I promise it will be one hell of a ride, Yours truly, TreXtrusion.
