The fuselage is closed now
After the preparation of the fuselage halves in last update now more parts follow to close the fuselage now.
Pic 1 A teaser photo - the result of this update with a closed fuselage
Pic 2 The tanks are painted blue-grey. I have reference pictures of Camel biplanes with that paint, but it is artist freedom. The tanks could also be natural aluminium.
Pic 3 PE mounting strips are prepared.
Pic 4 Tank and seat are mounted to the frame. Oh yeah, it's a fake tank—the back is open ;)
Pic 5 The kit and the the seat set provides PE seat belts in brass and steel, but I will use another set of HGW Models with real fabric belts.
Pic 6 The look is fantastic! There is a backing paper that needs to be removed. The PE parts has also spares which is very nice due to the small size.
Pic 7 The belts added to the seat. I like the look.
Pic 8 After a light oil wash the fuselage is prepared to be closed
Pic 9 The last macro shot to say goodbye to all the details.
Pic 10 The fuselage halves are closed. The connections of the frames can be glued from below.
Next pic - see the first photo for the final look.

@studio935 Thanks! It’s a shame that, in the end, so little of it will be visible.

Bughunter90 days ago@nunolima Thank you! This kit is also available as a “Weekend Edition,” but there’s no way I could ever put it together in that amount of time!
