This week, I finally made a decision on one of the most important parts of my entry — the head. From the very beginning, I wasn't sure if I wanted to go with a more traditional Little Red Riding Hood look or push the concept into a darker direction. After a lot of thinking (and a little experimentation), I decided to embrace the darker side of the story. Since my entry is a mix of fantasy and mecha, I wanted the character to feel like she has already gone through countless battles. I was able to finish painting the head and do some test fitting, and to add a bit more personality, I installed a red LED for the eyes. The glowing red eyes give her a more intimidating presence while still keeping the essence of "Little Red." I'm really happy with how it's turning out so far. The darker theme is slowly coming together, and I can't wait to start working on the armor pieces and weathering effects to tell more of her story. What do you think?
