The windshield
For the windshield I had two possible solutions: kit or PE.
The teaser photo 1 shows the mounted windshield.
Pic 2 The kit offers different windshields. The one I need is not that bad but due to technology a bit thick.
Pic 3 I soldered a little triangle on an etched frame, both from the PART set.
Pic 4 The metalized frame on the glazing.
Pic 5 I glued the clear foil with Microscale "Kristal Klear" to the frame.
Pic 6 From the back you can see the black printing, and the white of the glue but this will clear if it is completely dry.
See first pic: The windshield is in place. The fit is ok but could be better as it is designed for an older kit.

@gekoch Thanks! Yes, but it’s a shame that so many people still see it as just a toy. Perhaps competitions like this one could help change that.

Mark's Mecha Models45 days agois that a motor for a prop?

@timelordbuilds You mean the little metal pin? It is the special bearing I created very early in the second update. The rotary engine (shown earlier too) was mounted with the crankshaft on the fuselage. The wooden airscrew (on my model too of course) is mounted to the engine casing and both rotates together. That increases the airflow for cooling a lot, so such rotary engines are very light. On my model an airflow to the propeller causes rotation together with the engine.
