Fulmini

Nel frattempo preparo i fulmini che metterò sulle mani del modello. Fil di ferro a que spessori, e saldatore e tanta tanta pazienza nelle saldature.
Poi sfere fatte con il DAS, e giù di vernice blu fluorescente con venature argento

Biography

For this builder, mecha have always meant Gunpla first of all. That is where the passion began, before spreading to every robot that shaped the genre, from the giants of the 70s, 80s and 90s like Mazinger, Mazinkaiser, Grendizer and Jeeg, all the way to Evangelion, Patlabor and Gurren Lagann.

He loves every stage of the build, from clipping and cleaning each part to shaping it until it is just right, but what truly defines his style is the finish. He is not after a worn, battle-scarred look. Instead he wants these machines to feel forged from real metal, using mecha and metallic paints to achieve a bright, glossy sheen, with surfaces that catch the light like polished steel, as if the mechs had just rolled out of the hangar.

For him, building these kits is a way to slow down, work with his hands, and bring to life the designs that have inspired him for as long as he can remember.
