I asked my daughter if she could help me think of an idea for my GWCC entry, and she handed me this simple drawing of Little Red Riding Hood facing a wolf. At first, it was just a child’s sketch — imperfect, innocent, and full of imagination. But the more I looked at it, the more I realized it was more than just a drawing. It became a reminder of why I build in the first place. As hobbyists, we spend countless hours creating, painting, and chasing perfection. But sometimes, the most meaningful ideas come from the simplest moments shared with the people we love. This project became my way of connecting my passion for model building with the imagination of my children. Through this entry, I wanted to bring her little drawing to life while keeping the heart behind it untouched — a story born from family, creativity, and time shared together. More than a competition piece, this build is a memory between a father and his child.
