Commander Scale

Work on the engines is nearing its preliminary completion.

Over the past few days, the focus has been on further refining the front sections. Additional wiring, technical assemblies and various trim pieces have been added to further distinguish the two propulsion units from one another whilst maintaining a common design language.

Particular attention was paid to the silhouette of the engine noses. The aim was to emphasise the technical character of the power units without losing the racer’s clean lines.

As things stand, I consider the engines to be complete for the time being. Whilst minor additions are always possible, the focus of the project is now shifting to the next major construction phase:

The cockpit.

This is where the racer’s identity will be reflected in future – from the seating position and the controls right through to the details that define the vehicle’s character.

The engines deliver the power.

The cockpit will tell the story.
