GWCC 2026 – Final Update
Well… this isn’t the update I hoped I would be writing.
After giving it a lot of thought, I’ve decided to step down from the GWCC this year. Between work, family, and everything life has been throwing my way, I simply don’t have the time needed to finish this project to the standard I expect from myself before the competition comes to an end.
That doesn’t mean this project is over.
The Jesta Cannon and Base Jabber will continue as a personal project. I’ll still see this build through to the very end, just at a slower pace for my YouTube channel and Instagram. That fits the limited hobby time I have available.
I’ll continue sharing the journey, experimenting with new techniques, and bringing this vision to life using my trusted Gaahleri tools along the way.
I’m disappointed that I won’t be standing alongside the other competitors at the finish line, but I’m incredibly grateful for everyone who has followed this journey, and supported this project from the very beginning.
To all the amazing builders still competing, I wish you the very best!. I know firsthand how much dedication, patience, and passion goes into every build. I’ll be following your progress, cheering you on, and looking forward to seeing the incredible work everyone brings to the competition, and I’ll support those that truly inspire me as well.
This chapter may be closing, but the project itself isn’t. The mission continues, just on a different timeline.
Thank you all, your kindness, and for being part of this journey.
See you on the workbench.

GWCC 2026 WEEKLY REPORT 09
This week’s update focuses on the future direction of Project Εἰρήνη (Eiríni).
As the design phase continues, one of the main objectives under consideration is expanding the Jesta Cannon’s long-range support role through a redesigned backpack system and heavier support equipment.
Current concepts being explored include:
• Larger long-range artillery systems
• Expanded thruster and vernier configurations
• Additional sensor and targeting support units
• Reinforced backpack architecture for heavier armament
• Increased mechanical layering and surface detail
• A silhouette that further emphasizes the role of a precision fire support machine
The intention is to create a mobile suit that balances overwhelming firepower with mobility, maintaining the spirit of the Jesta while evolving its battlefield role within Project Εἰρήνη (Eiríni).
At this stage, these remain design studies and engineering concepts as the final direction of the build continues to develop.
Every detail must have a purpose.
Every modification must support the mission.

GWCC 2026 WEEKLY REPORT 08
As work continues on Project Εἰρήνη (Eiríni), attention is now shifting toward the next major stage of development:
defining the final identity of the Jesta Cannon and its battlefield role within the project narrative.
One of the primary objectives moving forward is to further emphasize the machine’s function as a long-range support unit. This includes evaluating potential modifications to the sensor systems, equipment layout, weapon configurations, and overall silhouette in order to create a stronger visual connection between the mobile suit and its intended mission profile.
Additional design are also being explored for the Jesta Cannon, focusing on:
- Additional mechanical separation and visual depth.
- Possible sensor and targeting equipment upgrades.
- Long-range engagement concepts.
- Improved integration between the mobile suit and support platform.
- Refinement of the overall visual storytelling behind Project Εἰρήνη (Eiríni).
At this stage, the focus remains on planning, evaluation, and determining which modifications best support the story being told through the build.

PHASE 2 BEGINS: WEAPON DEVELOPMENT & CUSTOM MODIFICATION With the base construction phase now completed, work officially moves into Second Phase of Project Εἰρήνη (Eiríni). This week focused on the first major custom modification of the build: transforming the standard Jesta beam rifle into a dedicated long-range sniper platform. Using components from the resin conversion kit, the original weapon was carefully disassembled and redesigned. New external equipment, an extended barrel assembly, sensor package, and support components were test-fitted to create a rifle better suited to the role of a precision marksman operating from the Type 89 Base Jabber. The goal was not simply to make the weapon larger, but to give it a purpose within the story of Project Εἰρήνη (Eiríni). As the conflict around the orbital defense base intensifies, the Pilot requires a weapon capable of engaging threats at extreme distances while minimizing collateral damage. Precision over destruction. Accuracy over chaos. Alongside the rifle conversion, preparation work has begun for the next stage of the project, including: - Custom scribing - Surface detailing - Armor modifications - Resin conversion preparation - Additional Base Jabber enhancements The first cuts have been made, the plans are taking shape, and the transformation has officially begun.

WEEKLY REPORT 06 PROJECT Εἰρήνη (Eiríni) Phase 1 is officially complete. For the first time, both machines that will define this project now stand together in their original forms: the RGM-96X Jesta and the Type 89 Base Jabber. This week was dedicated to comple the final assembly of the Base Jabber and evaluating how both units interact visually as a combined platform. While neither machine has entered its transformation phase yet, seeing them together provides the first glimpse of the overall composition that will eventually become Project Εἰρήνη (Eiríni). The Base Jabber immediately changes the character of the display. What was once a special operations mobile suit now feels like part of a larger deployment system. The combination adds scale, presence, and purpose. It transforms the Jesta from a machine simply standing on a shelf into a machine preparing for a mission. More importantly, this marks the end of the straight-build stage. Every major component has now been assembled and studied. The original engineering has been fully understood, proportions analyzed, weak points identified, and opportunities for improvement… And now… Phase 2 begins. This is where Project Εἰρήνη (Eiríni) truly starts to become something unique. The next stage will focus on extensive surface development across both kits. New panel lines after test fitting the Resin conversion parts, armor sections will be reworked, details refined, and structural modifications introduced to strengthen the visual language of the project. The goal is not simply to add more lines, but to create purpose, direction, and storytelling through the armor itself. At the same time, both the Jesta and the Base Jabber will begin receiving modifications that push them beyond their original forms while remaining faithful to the spirit of the Universal Century (according to my imagination that is). This is also the phase where the groundwork begins for the resin conversion kit, the most ambitious aspects of the entire project. @gaahleri_official @gaahleri_colabs The straight build is over. The planning is over. The transformation begins now.

PROJECT Εἰρήνη (Eiríni) The machine is finally beginning to breathe. After a week of preparation, cleanup, structural reinforcement, seam line removal, and surface correction, the RGM 96X Jesta has officially entered the stage where its true identity slowly begins to emerge (except that I’m still missing the SHIELD 🛡️) Even unpainted, the silhouette already carries the presence I envisioned from the beginning. Cold. Tactical. Silent. Purpose driven. This week focused heavily on studying proportions, armor balance, surface transitions, and the emotional weight of the machine itself before moving into the deeper transformation stages involving the resin conversion system, with full PLAMO redesign work, and expanded panel line modifications. The Jesta has always fascinated me, it is a very interesting design and according to the lore, has already 90% functionality of a Gundam. It was designed to protect… but this Jesta? It’s going to grow to a whole new level. A machine born from the shadow of the Unicorn Gundam project itself, carrying fragments of that same philosophy hidden beneath its armor. In many ways, the Jesta feels less like a hero machine and more like the final wall standing between humanity and destruction. That is the soul behind Project Εἰρήνη (Eiríni). The idea that even a machine built for war can carry the burden of preserving peace. Visually, the goal remains unchanged: to move beyond the appearance of plastic entirely. Every future modification, surface adjustment, paint layer, and lighting decision will continue pushing this machine closer toward cinematic realism and emotional presence inspired by the classical master painters Rembrandt, Caravaggio, and Leonardo da Vinci through volumetric light behavior, tonal depth, atmosphere, and shadow (these are the masters that always motivated me). The final form is still far away. The resin conversion has not yet begun. The Type 89 Base Jabber still waits. The new color scheme remains hidden. The LED system is still dormant. But the machine is waking up.

GWCC 2026 WEEKLY REPORT 04 Ideally I always have the habit of working on weapons first, except this time I decided to go for the mobile suit first… One of the main reasons why should be done first is because your mind is fresh and ready to take a new project with the best e ergo possible… when you prepare weapons last often time you are burnt out and exhausted and end up doing a poor job, you only want to get over with… This time isn’t precisely last, I’m yet to go thru the Base Jabber so I’m basically still at the starting line. Weapons need to look believable and free from seam lines or mold lines, the cleaner they look, your kit will gain a much better presence. Keep building! #GWCC #Gundam #Gunpla #GundamUnicorn #Jesta

GWCC 2026 WEEKLY REPORT 03 Things are starting to come together, ideas are flowing and the amount of mold lines to clean has been insane, what’s more insane is the fact that I won’t be using all the armor parts, but that’s the fun part… something it’s going to happen… I have a habit of overcomplicating things, so that’s where I’m going with this. #GWCC #gunpla #gundam #Jesta #GundamUnicorn

GWCC 2026 WEEKLY REPORT 02 Every build has a beginning… I would be lying if I told you I know exactly how it’ll look in the end, I got an idea and as always I love improvising and working as I go, next step will give me a clear view of what can be done and once it’s all put together I can sketch exactly what I want, and see if the color scheme that I want it’s the right one… this is just the surface, there will happen so much more. #gundam #gunpla #GundamUnicorn #Jesta #GWCC

GWCC 2026 WEEKLY REPORT 01 The MG Jesta, a Jesta Cannon resin conversion kit, and the Type 89 Base Jabber will turn into one complete 1/100 scale presentation inspired by the world of Gundam Unicorn. Painting wise, the goal is to move away from the appearance of plastic entirely. I will focus heavily on volumetric lighting, and cinematic realism to create a mobile suit that feels alive from every angle rather than simply assembled.
