Apparently simply drying even lacquer based primers for 3+ days significantly improve chrome on top so letting it sit for a while

Going to work in batches: outer armor and inner frame & etc because they're going to be different color schemes too

The noise level is okay
With higher pressure the pitch gets higher
Will use it for ~1h and see if it can support that use case

Clipped and ready to go, just waiting for the weather to get better
A few more parts than I have skewers for but since paints will be layered I'll find room here and there

Either should have rushed the project or just take my time, I should still be able to meet the deadline

Didn't expect the airbrush, will use it for acrylics I guess

Some people say it's loud but the noise ratings on product pages are too all over the place

Sanding and washing the parts

The pipes are cut so they can be assembled after painting separately. The top pin was cut so it can slide in and out, the bottom part snaps into place as well.
Similarly the flexible binders were cut just enough so the seamlines can be filled, painted and assembled later. Will snap into place but is more permanent than the pipes.
Inside the binders were sanded down to account for added thickness from paints
