Hi all - I want to introduce the start of an idea I've been developing lately, and a quick mention of context. The last picture uploaded to this post is of another work-in-progress Zoids custom I am currently working on, called the "Apex Saix". This is not my entry - it's more or less finished, mechanically, and I'll paint it sometime this summer. It's here because this jackrabbit Zoid is its direct competitor, and I think it's useful for you to see my motivation.


The "Rapid Jack" is going to join an imaginary Zoids circuit comparable to something like the world or Podracing, the rally racing in Speed Racer, or even F-Zero. I want to make something that seems light and extremely agile in comparison to the Cheetah - like a Superbike competing with a Formula 1 racer across various terrains. I'm using the head of an old TOMY Zoid blox squirrel called "Savinga" that I feel has a very bunny-ish shape. That's where we're starting! See you soon with updates.
