I had a problem with the paint. After trying to fix it applying another layer of primer on top, I found that the overall paint thickness was too much, so the details and panel lines started to cover up. That is not acceptable for me so I rather start over the whole paint process.

I soaked the body in alcohol and waited for a few hours to dilute the paint. After that I gently brushed the body with a tooth brush until the paint completely came off.
In one of the pictures you can see the body almost in its initial condition, like a few weeks ago…
I found that the vents that I made by hand were damaged by the alcohol and the brush. I needed to repair them filling the cracks with putty, sanding, filling again, sanding again, etc repeating the long process several times until it got to a decent shape.

The body is now again ready for primer and paint. Fingers crossed 🤞
