Update 2: Body Prep
Hey friends!
In this update, I want to share one of the most careful and time consuming stages of the Bugatti Veyron build, preparing the body for primer.
Along the way, I also found a few parts that will need to be recreated from scratch. Overall, the Veyron’s shapes are pretty simple, but there were still some tricky hard to reach areas...
Around 16 hours of work stayed behind the scenes, but the body is finally starting to come back to life.
In the next update, we’ll start choosing the base, colors, and shades for the project, and also begin designing our own custom decals.

@touge_scaleworks Thank you so much! And yes, the next update will actually be all about the color direction for the Veyron. I’ll show the main reference photo and we’ll start choosing the exact shade and tones. Small spoiler: it’s going to be a gradient finish.

@son.l Haha yeah. I honestly didn’t expect the Veyron to have this many tiny parts and hidden details. This project is definitely going to take some patience.
