These days I’ve been focusing on the chassis, especially on the metal parts.
In order to achieve a shiny and realistic metallic color I like to paint the part in a base coat of gloss black. Once dried I paint it with the metal desired metal color: steel, aluminum, duraluminum, etc. After that it’s time to apply some shading and details.
