Today I finished restoring the steering column cover and printed a new steering wheel. The printed version actually turned out much better than I expected and could easily become the final solution.

But during the evening inspection of all steering components, I caught myself thinking… maybe I should try to save the original steering wheel after all.

The original part has its own character and details that are difficult to fully replicate, so I decided to give it a second chance before choosing the final direction.

While checking the parts, I also discovered another small challenge. The turn signal stalks are damaged, and one of them is completely missing.

These parts are extremely tiny, especially in 1:18 scale, but they are an important detail of the Veyron interior. Now they will have to be recreated and restored as well.
