USS Enterprise CV-65

For last three days I was working on this Enterprise by revell in 1/720 scale. I bought her few weeks ago after watching Odyssey in a Toy store near the cinema. I saw her and was like: Hmmm maybe I could buy it. I haven't build „Super carrier“ since 2022 and recently I finished Enterprise CV-6 so I said to myself that it would be great combo to have both of them.

And I was quite happy with it, the fit between lower and upper hull was not the best, but I solved it with some putty. And I was surprised by the built in anchor, I think I haven't seen anything like that before.

The biggest challenge on this ship was the deck, because I had to paint it manually. However, it was way better than I though and I'm really happy with how it turned out, especially the shadowing of the angled deck, because it was my first time doing shadowing on a big open surface.

Now I just need to paint the aircrafts and make some ✨fancy ✨ stand, because the revell's one is quite horrible.

I'm sure you will do a fantastic job with all 3 "E"'s.

Some mfgr. in the past made the IJN trio of YAMATO, MUSAHI, SHINANO in 1/350 I am wondering what those and the ENTERPRISE would look line in a display together?

I could not tell by the photos you painted the deck manually. Excellent result!
