Hidden Magnets, Better Display | He-Man WIP

In this update, I'm installing neodymium magnets to securely assemble the different parts of He-Man while keeping the joins clean and almost invisible.

It's one of those steps that many people never see, but it makes a huge difference in the final piece. A strong, precise fit not only makes assembly easier but also improves the overall display and durability.

The goal isn't just to create a great-looking model—it's to create a collectible that feels solid, practical, and built to last.

Stay tuned... there's much more to come! 💪⚔️

Great idea using magnets! I integrated strong little 1x1mm magnets in airplane models to hold cowlings and external loads.

I been looking to add magnets into future builds. The clean look they offer verses the normal options on kits are great!

@Arvin Quezada That's right, Arvin! I prefer to glue the parts together when I don't have to ship them—it's much safer. But when they need to arrive safely in a package, there's really no other option than to send them in separate pieces.

@Christopher Koch I can't count how many times I've glued magnets in the wrong orientation because I didn't have those tools. 😅

@Doug Mulle I use neodymium magnets because they're a more professional solution. They also make a huge difference when shipping commissioned pieces, helping them arrive safely and securely.

@Svee They're on MakerWorld. If you're interested, I can send you the link. 😊

@Doug Mulle Neodymium magnets used to be really expensive, but now that they're more affordable, I consider them a must-have. I can't imagine working without them anymore. Being able to paint a figure in separate parts is so much easier than trying to paint one massive statue.
