Base

Hi everyone! Here is the ship's base. It’s not finished yet, but this is roughly what it will look like. I’m waiting for someone to make the stars as water-slide decals, since I couldn't get them all to look exactly the same. Then, a Plexiglas dome is made for it.

  @MethodWil_modeling When I routed out the center of the base, I used a ball-nose bit from the start, so the wave shapes were already formed in the wood. Afterward, I applied an AK water effect and dry-brushed the crests of the waves with white acrylic paint.
