Priming Gerwalk
Since my airbrush is broken, I am using dollar tree brushes to hand paint my models. After surfacing (which I still have a bit of to do) I use createx white paint thinner with a bit of 4021 reducer. this process requires several passes for an even coat, but it works. When I move on to the pastel colors I will use Chroma Air (which is produced here in Florida and is compatible with createx thinners).

@christopherkoch for the last few years I have been relying only on high grade water based polyurethane acrylics, namely createx and chroma air from Spraygunner. I just thin them with createx reducers and their flow and coverage is great.

@christopherkoch this method tends to work best with a higher gauge needle though, I have a badger with a .7 needle.
