This was one of the biggest decisions I had to make while building this truck. I spent a lot of time wondering whether I should paint the exterior body panels first and then glue them together, or assemble the entire exterior first and paint it afterward.

In the end, even though assembling everything first makes the painting process more difficult and creates a lot more work, I decided to glue all the exterior body panels together before painting to achieve a higher-quality finish!

The surfacer is finally on, and as soon as the paint for the body arrives, I’ll start applying the base color!
