If I use liquids mask I try to be quick. Mask, paint with lacquer paints (dry within seconds) and remove the mask. Otherwise I have problems with attacking lower layers too. Once the green colour of the mask transfered to a white decal after applied too long. Luckily I was able to sand that away with a very fine grid from the decal carrier.

Not just the inks , it pealed my dry oil based trim as well. Have to try to figure out what exactly it does work with.

Yes I discovered that about acrylic inks too. fragile. But that may be a plus when doing chips/scratches. Love the discovery and learning in this hobby
