#3 - Ready for Primer!
Continued working on the body parts to get all the pieces ready for primer.
Work done as per pictures attached:
- front spoiler needed some trimming at the bottom, so this was done using the NeoBlade ultrasonic cutter.
- after the trimming, the surface was sanded smooth with the NeoSander reciprocating tool.
- the 86 is provided with 2 rear spoiler options. Once chosen, you'll need to close the holes of the other one. For this, I decided to first fill the holes with 2 pieces of resin sprues.
- once super glue dried, these were cut as close to the luggage boot as possible.
- then the surface was sanded smooth, once again with the NeoSander.
- surface was then filled with putty and sanded smooth again.
- then, all the body related photo-etch pieces were attached in place.
- finally, all resin & photo-etch pieces were sanded smooth with Tamiya #600 sanding sponge, washed well with soapy water and are now ready for primer.

@touge_scaleworks Thanks for checking out my work and leaving your feedback. That's very appreciated. Yes this kit is quite detailed, more than I thought it would be ☺️

@ICR Workshop *sorry, previous reply was sent without answers! The cutting tool is the NeoBlade, an ultrasonic blade. The other is the NeoSander, a reciprocating sander. Both are made by Hozo Design. Thanks again 👍🏼
